Canelles Reservoirs boasts infinite special nooks and crannies in peaceful and wild surroundings. As a result of its immensity, you’ll need several days to explore it in its entirety. Head southwards to see the wilder side of Canelles.
It’s quite the physical challenge, as rowing to Finestras is sure to make you break a sweat. A demanding journey, but one full of glimpses of natural wonders: Fet Gorge, Blancafort’s ancient walls, Las Conclues tower and walls… and who could forget all the birds!
Remember that if you want to get to Finestras, the return journey is some 25 kilometres long and it will take you around six hours.
It’s a long day of kayaking, so we recommend heading off early. But don’t worry: if you book the activity with us, our material is top quality, which will help you considerably during your journey.
If you bring your own kayak, bear in mind that you’ll need a permit from the Ebro Hydrographic Confederation (CHE), and you’ll also need to clean and disinfect the hull.
In addition, the track that leads to Montfalcó pier isn’t maintained and you’ll need a 4×4 vehicle in order to navigate it.
