How to arrive at Montfalcó Hostel...
IMPORTANT
GPS devices don’t normally send you in the right direction, instead taking you to old and deteriorated trails, so we highly recommend following our instructions or downloading our own GPS route.
This route is not suitable for buses and it may prove dangerous.
PARKING You’ll find a free public car park 200 metres before you reach the mountain refuge.
The Montfalcó Walkways and Mont-Rebei Gorge route is free to access, so there’s no need to book a ticket and there are no opening times. However, if you wish to return by kayak, you must book this in advance.
If you’re coming from...
Take the N-240 towards Lleida. When you reach Barbastro, take the N-123 to Benabarre. Once there, take the N-230 towards Vielha. You’ll reach Viacamp in 13 km, and from here, take the trail that leads to Montfalcó (15 km).

Take the A64/E80, following signs for Foix/Tarbes – Lourdes for 95 km, and then get off at junction 17 to take the A645 towards Lleida. After 7 km, follow signs for Loures-Barousse. You’ll pass through Labroquère and Chaum before reaching the N125, following signs for Saint-Béat-Lez. Stay on this road for 16 km until you have to change to the N-230 once you cross over into Spain. Once in Spain, follow signs for Lleida for 100 km, which will take you to Puente de Montañana (from here you can take the road to Mont-Rebei Gorge), and then a few kilometres later you’ll reach Viacamp, from where you take the trail to Montfalcó (15 km).
